Hardcover & paperback books are welcomed at local libraries where they will be used for book sales or free distribution. You may also deposit books throughout your community in “little libraries” where available. These are typically located in public areas such as parks or community squares. Hardcover and paperback books that are worn to a point beyond a reusable state where they can not be donated may be “disposed of” by recycling by taking the binding off and recycling any paper with mixed recycling.
